Designed to guide screws through the side of compatible decking boards, this practical installation tool keeps fixings hidden from view. The DuoFix guide positions each screw at the correct angle while also helping to control the fixing depth. Therefore, installers can work with greater accuracy and consistency across the entire deck. The tool also creates a uniform 6mm gap between boards, helping you maintain a neat and balanced layout.

Accurate hidden fixing with the Millboard DuoFix Side Fixing Tool

The Millboard DuoFix Side Fixing Tool fits over decking boards between 145mm and 200mm wide. It is suitable for Millboard Enhanced Grain and Weathered Oak decking boards. It may also work with selected softwood decking boards that fall within the supported width range.

Once placed over the board, the guide aligns the screw for side fixing into the subframe below. This removes much of the guesswork from screw placement. In addition, it helps reduce the risk of marking or damaging the visible surface of the decking board.

For the correct installation system, use the guide with compatible Millboard Durafix screws. The included DuoFix driver bit helps drive each screw through the guide accurately and to the required depth.
