The only tintable wood preservative product in Australia.

Hundreds of thousands of dollars and several years of research had to go into developing CUTEK® Wood Preservative before it could receive the final approval from the APVMA to be labelled a “Wood Preservative”.

CUTEK® Wood Preservative is the best product to use in areas prone to rot, decay, mould, fungus, termite and other borers.

We recommend using CUTEK® Restore prior to applying. Aside from cleaning the timber, CUTEK® Restore with also open the pores of the timber allowing better penetration of the oil.

• For maximum protection, coat all four sides as well as the end grain.
• To minimise drying time, apply as thinly as possible. (Heating the oil and preparing with CUTEK® Restore will help with this)
• Coverage is 10-20m2 per litre depending on age and species of timber.
• Clean up with Turps.

CUTEK® Wood Preservative is an oil-based wood stabiliser used for pre-treatment and remedial treatment of exterior wood in industrial and domestic situations.
CUTEK® Wood Preservative coated wood resists damage caused by fungal decay, mould and termites.

CUTEK® Wood Preservative also protects exterior woods from moisture, improving dimensional stability and minimising warping, cupping, and splitting.

CUTEK® Wood Preservative comes as a clear oil which fades in the sun to a natural silver patina but at slower rate that CUTEK® Extreme CD50. It may also be mixed with any of the 16 CUTEK® Colourtones to enhance and maintain the freshly oiled natural look of your timber.

CUTEK® Wood Preservative is NOT suitable for use on acetylated wood.
