Wedge Restraint

(or Tilt Batten as it’s also known) is a 100x50mm triangular 60 degree pool safety rail that is fixed to the top of an existing 75x50mm standard paling fence rail.

Please note, this product cannot be cut from 75×50 as it does not meet the 60 degree angle required by the regulations.

Its purpose is to make the fence as unclimbable as possible. Perfect for paling fencing around a swimming pool and a lot cheaper than cladding both sides of the fence with palings.

We recommend using 10g x 75mm Galvanised screws to fix the Wedge Restraint. (Extra screws at each end skewed at different angles to reduce the chance of bowing)
